LOOKING BACK, MOVING FORWARD: WOMEN OVERCOMING DEPRESSION

This 9-week group presents an opportunity to learn and grow beyond depression, exhaustion, and/or burnout using the expressive arts therapies of dance/movement, art making, and writing. If you are looking for something beyond talk therapy and you are interested in exploring the expressive arts as avenue of self-awareness and understanding, this group may be for you.
In this group, you’ll gain an appreciation of your innate capacity to heal, the value of listening to the meaning of your movements and your body as a source of wisdom, and your own sense of ability to direct the choices in your life.
This group requires no previous experience with movement, dance, art making, or writing. It often attracts people who have some interest in the expressive arts and offers an alternative way to approach depression, exhaustion, and burnout while still grounded in a mindful therapeutic environment.
